Tsavo is comprised of two national parks, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, covering over 10,000,000 acres of pure wilderness with a large diversity of eco-systems. Rivers, savannah, forest and hills predominate. If you truly want to be away from it all and not meet many other people, then plan to spend some time here. It's sheer size lends itself to solitude. Although not as easy to see as in other parks, wildlife including elephant, lion, leopard, giraffe, zebra and various antelope make Tsavo their home.
